At Ateliers Zelij, we specialize in authentic Zellige from Fez. Our zellige is 100% artisanal, fired in wood ovens. The edges are shaped with a Marteline by the Master Artisans of Fez.
How can you recognize a true traditional zellige? They are beveled at the back and on the edges to allow for a true “edge-to-edge” installation. The desired effect is irregular to capture light and enhance the charm of this unique Moroccan tile.
