At Ateliers Zelij, we specialize in authentic Zellige from Fes. Our zellige is 100% artisanal, fired in traditional wood ovens. The edges are meticulously shaped using the Marteline technique by the Master Artisans of Fes.
How to Recognize Authentic Traditional Zellige?
They feature beveled edges at the back and along the sides, allowing for a true “edge-to-edge” installation. The desired effect is intentionally irregular, capturing light and enhancing the charm of this unique Moroccan tile.
