Gohei and the Shimenawa collection were born from the collaboration between the creative agency Ombre and Ateliers Zelij. This collection, the result of an exciting and profound dialogue, explores a sacred notion in Japan: the connection between the visible and invisible worlds. Translated from Japanese as “rope enclosure,” the shimenawa binds and infuses energy into the places it adorns.
Using the same matrix that resembles the fiber of a rope, each pattern has been designed as an intertwining, a knot that connects spaces together, reminiscent of the Married Rocks of Meoto Iwa.
Gohei is one of the three models in the collection. It integrates seamlessly into all supports and projects. This product can be created in any color from the color chart. The Ombre agency also assists our clients—both demanding professionals and art enthusiasts—in creating unique wall decor.
