What does Bejmat mean!?
The authentic Moroccan beldi bejmat is a typical tile in Morocco, either glazed or natural. The edges are straight—unlike zellige, which has beveled edges for a perfect edge-to-edge installation. Its traditional dimensions are 4.5 x 14 x 2 cm. It is available in multiple finishes:
- Natural (Fes earth)
- Red Natural (Meknes earth)
- All colors from our color chart
Its rectangular shape allows for creative arrangements to create graphic terracotta rugs.
The desired effect is an authentic terracotta floor. Bejmat transports us directly to warm Mediterranean regions.
Sold in bulk. Upon request, we can deliver our 4.5-14.5 bejmat in pre-assembled rigid frames with the arrangement of your choice.
