This model, Zellige Ciselé-CH04, envisioned by Samir Mazer, reinterprets the traditional chiseling technique on zellige while playfully exploring the effects of moucharabieh.
The chiseling technique is undoubtedly one of the most impressive aspects of Moroccan zellige. Starting with a plain zellige tile, our Master Artisans carefully remove the glaze to reveal intricate designs beneath. This distinctive technique has captivated our designer Samir Mazer, who has reimagined it to create new patterns inspired by the “light-dark” effects commonly found in moucharabieh.
The chiselled zellige CH-04 can be customized in any color from our zellige color palette, so feel free to share your project with us.
