Scarpa Rosso

For this project, led by the architecture agency Bloma, the idea was to reinterpret our Scarpa design using rosso marble. Rather than selecting an existing material, we undertook a dedicated sourcing process to identify a stone whose color, structure, and performance would meet both the aesthetic ambitions of the project and the requirements of production.

Throughout the development, particular attention was given to material efficiency. The selected stone was evaluated not only for its visual qualities but also for its ability to be transformed with minimal waste, reflecting our commitment to a more thoughtful and responsible use of natural resources.

By combining surface design expertise, material knowledge, and a network of specialized workshops, Ateliers Zelij supports projects from initial concept through sourcing, development, and production, helping to transform ideas into singular architectural surfaces.
